Here at Ballard Music School we are dedicated to the success of our students, which is especially true with Marimba lessons. Just in case you're unsure what a marimba looks like, a marimba is laid out like a really big xylophone, that's about 6 feet long. It consists of big wooden bars that you strike with mallets, that each produce a different note, just like the keys of a piano. Each wooden bars is tuned to a different note. Sight reading on the marimba is quite difficult, and takes time to master. We'll take as much time as you need to develop your marimba skills.
