Sheila Case


Sheila has been singing since she was a child. She sang her first solo - Jesus Loves Me - in her church at three years of age. She began her opera career with The Whitewater Opera Company in Indiana where she performed featured roles for six years. She recently retired after singing with The Dallas Opera chorus for twenty-one years. Sheila has also been very active in the Musical Theater community, performing leading roles in numerous productions. She was employed by many churches in the Dallas area as a Section Leader and Soloist in addition to teaching voice lessons for the Garland ISD for eight years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University in General-Choral Music and received a Meadows Artistic Achievement Award in graduate music studies at Southern Methodist University.


Sheila teaches the “Art and Science of Singing” which incorporates a natural and healthy singing style which supports all genres of music, including classical, contemporary, folk, jazz, etc. She teaches students aged 10 and up.
